On Instagram, the salon chain released ads that mentioned the star by name after she released the hair undergarments

Kim Kardashian is giving credit where it's due.
This week, the SKIMS founder, 44, broke the internet again after she released a line of underwear, called the Faux Hair Micro String Thong, inspired by pubic hair. And while fans of the brand had so much enthusiasm about the absurd launch that they sold it out in days, the European Wax Center felt differently.
On Oct. 15, the chain salon, known for its hair-removal services, launched a campaign subtly shading Kardashian and SKIMS' latest invention, releasing photos of storefront posters and billboards that read, "We'll take it from here, Kim."
They also captioned their Instagram post, "When it comes to confidence, faux won't do."

The bold statement eventually caught Kardashian's attention and the reality start took it upon herself to praise the clever marketing. "When it comes to confidence, faux won't do," she wrote with two clapping hand emojis.
The European Wax Center account then responded with, "SKIMS 🤝 Smooth skin. Thanks for the love, Kim."

The hairy thong is the latest of SKIMS' buzzy launches following the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap that debuted in July as its first-ever face products also made to double as skin care with its collagen yarns. Back in September, the company also put out a hybrid sublabel with Nike featuring seven collections and 58 silhouettes. The campaign was fronted by athletes Serena Williams, Jordan Chiles, Sha'Carri Richardson and Chloe Kim.
Kardashian's future for SKIMS' evolution is only growing brighter.
During her Oct. 15 interview on Alex Copper's Call Her Daddy podcast, the All's Fair actress teased the arrival of a Skims Beauty brand, which will house fragrance and makeup. "That's going to be so f------ major," she said.
"I love when I know what works, and then I try something and I know what doesn't work, and that's okay. So we're gonna bring back what works."
Kardashian dove into beauty with KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance, which then turned into SKKN by Kim, which shut its doors on June 29.
