Prince Andrew is a father of two.
Andrew, the second son of Queen Elizabeth, welcomed his first daughter, Princess Beatrice, with his then-wife Sarah Ferguson in August 1988. Their second daughter, Princess Eugenie, arrived in March 1990. Andrew and Ferguson raised their children at the Royal Lodge at Windsor, and though they split in 1992, they've maintained an amicable relationship in the decades since.
"They are the best divorced couple I know," Eugenie famously told the BBC of her parents.
Now, the princesses are raising families of their own. Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, share two daughters — Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi and Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi — in addition to Mozzi's son from a previous relationship. Princess Eugenie shares sons August Philip Hawke Brooksbank and Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank with husband Jack Brooksbank.
Beatrice and Eugenie are not working royals, but they are actively involved in numerous charities and have pursued professional careers of their own. In July 2025, Princess Beatrice took over one of her late grandfather's patronages, and in 2022, she assumed the role of Counsellor of State under her uncle King Charles.

While Prince Andrew announced he'll no longer use his royal titles in a shocking move on Oct. 17, PEOPLE understands Beatrice and Eugenie's titles and positions are unaffected by the decision. Andrew made the surprising announcement amid renewed interest in his alleged connection to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The prince — who has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing — stepped back from his royal role in 2019 following his BBC interview regarding his ties to the disgraced financier. Three years later, the Queen stripped him of his military titles and patronages, and he stopped using the "His Royal Highness" styling.

Prince Andrew and Ferguson welcomed their first daughter, Princess Beatrice, on Aug. 8, 1988. Beatrice is currently ninth in the line of succession for the British throne.
She studied history at the University of London's Goldsmiths College, but has since pursued a career in finance and consulting. She now works at the software company Afiniti, where she serves as the Vice President of Partnerships & Strategy.
Her portfolio of philanthropic work spans multiple charities. Most recently, she was appointed the newest royal patron of the Chartered College of Teaching, a position previously held by her late grandfather, Prince Philip.
Princess Beatrice wed Mozzi on July 17, 2020, in an intimate ceremony at All Saints Chapel in Windsor Great Park, surrounded by 20 of their closest friends and relatives.
The pair had gone public with their romance one year prior, but had actually known each other for decades. Mozzi hails from Italian nobility and is the chief executive of Banda Property. He proposed to Princess Beatrice in September 2019 while in Italy — he even tapped Princess Eugenie to take their engagement photos. Upon their wedding, Princess Beatrice earned the Italian titles of "Contessa" and "Nobile Donna."

They became parents on Sept. 18, 2021, with the birth of their daughter, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi. Their second daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, was born on Jan. 22, 2025. Sienna and Athena are 10th and 11th in line of succession to the throne, respectively. Princess Beatrice is also a stepmom to Christopher Woolfie, known as "Wolfie," whom Mozzi shares with American architect and designer Dara Huang.
Ferguson has also spoken highly of her daughters' parenting skills. "My children are phenomenal mothers," she said at a Hello! magazine event in October 2021. "They were great children, but now they're phenomenal mothers."

The couple welcomed their second daughter, Princess Eugenie, on March 23, 1990. Eugenie is currently 12th in the line of succession.
At just 12 years old, Princess Eugenie underwent a life-changing, eight-hour surgery after being diagnosed with scoliosis. The operation left her with 8-inch rods inserted into her spine and 1.5-inch screws at the top of her neck. In a heartfelt tribute shared on Instagram, the princess thanked her mom for her unconditional support.
"She removed all the stigma around having scoliosis for me by confidently showing people what I'd been through and it took all the fear and anxiety out of being different at such a young age," she wrote.
Compared to their royal cousins, Prince William and Prince Harry, the sisters received more privacy growing up. However, they still regularly took part in royal family traditions, such as annual Christmas Day services, the Royal Ascot, and of course, attending the weddings of their royal family members, including Prince William and Princess Kate's in 2011.
Princess Eugenie worked for an online auction firm prior to becoming the director of the London art gallery Hauser & Wirth. However, she's just as known for her philanthropic efforts. She's been involved with a number of charities, including the Teenage Cancer Trust, Street Child, The Big Cat Sanctuary, Elephant Family, Project O, Redevelopment Appeal and Tate Young Patrons. Most notably, she co-founded The Anti-Slavery Collective in 2017.
Princess Eugenie shares three children with her husband, Brooksbank, whom she met through mutual friends while attending Newcastle University. They dated for seven years before Brooksbank popped the question during a January 2018 trip to Nicaragua — but according to the princess, it was always "love at first sight."
"We met when I was 20, he was 24," she said in a televised interview on the BBC program One Show. "[We] fell in love. We have the same passions and drive for life."

The pair wed on Oct. 12, 2018, at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in front of 800 guests, including the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
They welcomed their first child, son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, who affectionately goes by "Augie," on Feb. 9, 2021. Their second son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, was born on May 30, 2023. August and Ernest are 13th and 14th in line of succession to the throne, respectively.
In a 2023 interview with Hello! magazine, the princess opened up about how motherhood has "positively impacted my desire to do more."
"Priorities change when you have children; you want to do everything you can for them," she said.
She echoed this sentiment in a Q&A with The Anti-Slavery Collective, emphasizing how motherhood has further fueled her passion for philanthropy and education.
"Becoming a parent is the most special, mind-blowing experience of a person's life. My children make my world go around. It's made me hungrier to do the work. I want to educate my children and all young people about being vulnerable, sensitive, and empathetic towards each other," she said in 2024.
