Sheriff Mickey Fox's personal relationships are as complex and compelling as the criminal cases she handles in Sheriff Country.

A spinoff of Fire Country, the CBS drama, which premieres on Oct. 17, follows Mickey (Morena Baccarin), a tough, no-nonsense law enforcement officer in the small town of Edgewater, Calif., as she tackles both local crime and her own complicated family life.

Mickey's personal world is fraught with tension — from her uneasy relationship with her ex-husband, Travis (Christopher Gorham), and their troubled daughter, Skye (Amanda Arcuri), to the challenges posed by her father, Wes (W. Earl Brown), a former convict.

Off-screen, Baccarin also knows the realities of co-parenting. She shares a son with her ex-husband, Austin Chick, and has two children with her husband, actor Ben McKenzie.

Here's everything to know about the real-life partners of the Sheriff Country cast.

The couple met on the Fox series Gotham in 2014 and eventually wed on Baccarin's 38th birthday in 2017.

McKenzie and the Sheriff Country star share two children, Frances and Arthur, while Baccarin is also a mom to son Julius, whom she welcomed with her ex-husband, Austin Chick.

"She still lights up the room. I love you," Gorham wrote on Instagram in honor of the couple's wedding anniversary in January 2025.

The Sheriff Country star — who portrays Mickey's ex-husband, Travis — shares three children — Ethan, Lucas and Alondra — with Lopez.

Michele Weaver, who plays Deputy Cassidy, often shows her affection for her husband on Instagram — though she's never revealed his name publicly.

The couple wed in December 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

"My beautiful guest-less ceremony to the man I deeply love and respect before the GOD I serve was the best and hardest decision I've made to date," Weaver wrote on Instagram in January 2021.

"Don't let your natural eyes fool you, move in faith," she continued. "I got MORE than I ever dreamed... a REAL Love Story! A best friend, confidant, leader, anchor, teacher and a bodyguard just to name a few...."

Weaver and her husband share a daughter, who was born in March 2023, and are currently expecting baby No. 2.

Matt Lauria, who portrays Deputy Boone, has been married to his wife, Michelle Armstrong, for some time — which he's called his greatest accomplishment.

"We first met in the Denver airport when we were 16," Lauria told Broadway.com in 2013. "The following summer, I was working in Colorado again as a ranch hand, and she was working as a whitewater rafting guide ... We were 17 when we started dating, and the rest is history."

W. Earl Brown — who plays Mickey's dad, Wes — and his wife, Carrie Paschall, grew up in Calloway County, Ky., which is home to their alma mater, Murray State University.

"We were high school sweethearts ... sort of. I was already at Murray State when we first started dating. She joined me there a couple of years later," Brown told the university in 2022.

The pair went on to marry in July 1989 and welcome a daughter, Anna.

Fire Country star Max Thieriot reprises his role as Mickey's nephew in the pilot of the CBS spinoff, though it's unclear how much he'll appear — after all, Bode has plenty of fires to battle in Edgewater.

Like many of his costars, Thieriot is also married. He met his now-wife, Lexi Murphy, while on vacation with their respective families in the Caribbean. They were 16 at the time.

"I'm not quite sure what she saw in me," he joked on The Talk in May 2024. "I was like, full skater bod and I had some bleached blonde hair back then ... I don't know if she knew I was the one, but I knew that she was the one."

The couple, who married in 2013, now share two sons: Beaux and Maximus.
