Joe Burrow is the topic of conversation ... from his head to his toe.
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback, 28, sparked chatter among fans once again when he returned to the sideline for his team's Thursday night game on Oct. 16 for the first time since undergoing surgery last month.
But now, Burrow — who suffered grade 3 turf toe against the Jacksonville Jaguars in week 2 — attracted attention for a physical element a bit further up on his 6-foot-4 frame. Yes, Burrow has a new 'do.

The injured QB debuted his grown-out, curly brown hair that hung down well over the athlete's eyes and graced the bridge of his nose when he popped out for the Bengals' primetime matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Not to mention, his look his garnering a plethora of reactions on social media from football fans and beyond. (We're looking at you, TV stans, who are comparing Burrow's near-identical resemblance to Christopher Briney's Conrad Fisher from The Summer I Turned Pretty).
"this is 100% your look, connie baby 😘," wrote one user on a photo of the sidelined athlete posted on the Bengals' official Instagram account.
"Conrad that you?" commented another.
Other users, meanwhile, assumed Burrow's look is a sign of his mental state given his injury.
"Poor dude. I can't even imagine how he feels," wrote a third user.
"If the hair is any indicator... my mans is depressed," commented another.

Meanwhile, another batch of vocal social media goers were all for his new 'do.
"In my day, we called this guy a hunk," a person penned, while another wrote, "Joe if you are reading this do not change this hair style."
While Burrow's lengthy locks aren't as drastic as his hair choices prior (see his platinum buzz cut for comparable reference), his shag was noticeably, well, shaggier to the naked eye since fans last saw him before his successful surgery on Sept. 19.

Burrow's on his road to recovery, so he ditched the jersey and pads.
Rather, he brought team spirit in a low-key manner. His all-black ensemble included a long-sleeve T-shirt with a small Bengals logo on the upper left side that he tucked into his coordinating sweatpants.
He wore a white sneaker on his right foot and a boot to protect his injury on the other.

Joe Burrow debuts platinum buzz cut during the Cincinnati Bengals training camp in August 2024.
In June 2024, Burrow turned heads for his bleach-blonde buzz cut, a drastic change from his previous sandy blond waves.
Burrow is expected to miss a minimum of three months until he's cleared to play. He's on track for his mid-December return, per NFL reports, but his exact timeline remains unclear.
The Bengals are currently 3-4 this season.
Next, the Bengals will face the New York Jets at Paycor Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 26.
