Don't mess with Aaron Rodgers!
Pittsburgh Steelers tackle Broderick Jones found that out the hard way after he jumped on his 41-year-old quarterback to celebrate Rodgers' 68-yard touchdown pass to tight end Pat Freiermuth late in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, Oct. 16.
In a clip from the moment, Rodgers looks less than thrilled and gets red in the face after Jones tackled him from behind and caused him to fall to the ground.
Once the signal-caller got up, he pushed Jones away in seeming disgust.
"Oh gosh, don't tackle me, c'mon!" Amazon Prime commentator Kirk Herbstreit said as a guess at Rodgers' response to Jones, as footage of the sideline near-skirmish played for viewers.
The touchdown put the Steelers ahead of the Bengals 31-30 late in the game, which was hilariously billed the "Icy Hot Bowl" and the "Battle of the Uncs," since it pitted Rodgers against 40-year-old quarterback Joe Flacco, who was recently traded to the team from the Cleveland Browns.

The quarterbacks became the second 40-year-old-plus duo to face off against each other since Tom Brady and Drew Brees did so three times in 2020, according to The Athletic.
"It's great for all of the old guys," Rodgers told reporters before the game. "I know that when I watch other sports, maybe it's because I'm the older guy, but I tend to pull for the older guys to win, win championships. I've been friends with [Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry] for a long time. Steph is one of the older guys in the NBA now, so any time the Warriors are playing, I'm always pulling for Steph to ball out, for them to win."
On Thursday night, the Steelers didn't win, losing the game 33-31 on a last-second Bengals field goal — but another "geriatric" pro athlete also made headlines.
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Max Scherzer returned to the mound to pitch 5 ⅔ innings and get the win over the Seattle Mariners in game 4 of the ALCS.
Scherzer, 41, who had been sidelined for most of the season, got his first postseason win in six years and the Jays tied the series 2-2 with a commanding 8-2 win.
