The winner of America's Got Talent season 20 welcomed her first baby with husband Rickie less than one month after winning the competition show

Jessica Sanchez is a mom!
The singer, who won season 20 of America's Got Talent, has welcomed her first baby with her husband Rickie Gallardo, a rep for the couple confirms to PEOPLE. Sanchez, who memorably announced her pregnancy while on the show, gave birth on Monday, Oct. 13.
"She's here. On October 13, 2025, I gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Eliana Mae Gallardo — 6 lbs., 12 oz. and 20.5 inches of pure love," Sanchez tells PEOPLE. "The moment I held her, everything around me just stopped. It's the kind of love you can't explain — that fills every part of you all at once."

"These first few days have been emotional, sleepless, beautiful...everything I dreamed of and more. We chose the name Eliana because it means 'God has answered,' and that's exactly how she feels. Our answered prayer, our reminder of grace and purpose," she continues.
"I'm healing, learning and soaking in every second with her. My heart has never been this full."
Sanchez and her husband dated for nine years before tying the knot in 2021. Her new single "Two Lines," which details her pregnancy, is out now.
Shortly after winning America's Got Talent in September, Sanchez spoke with PEOPLE about what the win — which was 19 years in the making! — meant for her.

She first auditioned for the reality competition show in its inaugural season in 2006, at just 10 years old. This season, she returned — 20 years older — in pursuit of her dreams of being a singer.
"I don't even know how to react right now, I'm just feeling on cloud nine. It just feels amazing!" she told PEOPLE on the red carpet after the finale.
"I was just so grateful to be a part of the finals and then also to be there sharing the stage with Chris," Sanchez said of the season's runner-up, Chris Turner. "Chris is just amazing. I don't know how he does what he does. I was happy either way, whatever the outcome was."

"When Terry said my name, I was just like, 'What the heck is happening right now?' " Sanchez added. "So I'm just feeling very loved. I'm feeling very blessed and so grateful."
At the time, she was nine months pregnant and told PEOPLE she couldn't wait for her little one to be born.
"I was thinking, when I was on that stage, 'I've already won. I'm about to go home, and I'm at the end of my pregnancy,' " she said. "'I'm going to give birth to a beautiful baby girl and start motherhood.'"
