Glaser makes her "Saturday Night Live" hosting debut on Nov. 8. In 2026, the comedian will release a new stand-up special on Hulu and once again host the Golden Globes. "Back to Friends" singer Sombr makes his "SNL" debut as well.

The iconic NBC sketch comedy series returned in October after a landmark 50th season, which was feted with several documentaries, a Radio City Music Hall concert special and a three-hour telecast with "SNL" legends. The first two hosts of Season 51 were Bad Bunny and Amy Poehler. Sabrina Carpenter will pull double duty as host and musical guest on Oct. 18.

The series waved goodbye to a handful of cast members ahead of the new season, including Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, Devon Walker and Michael Longfellow. Meanwhile, five people joined the cast: Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson and Veronika Slowikowska.

"Saturday Night Live" scored big with this year's Emmy nominations, racking up seven nods for the show itself, plus 23 nominations across "The Anniversary Celebration," "SNL50: The Homecoming Concert," "Beyond Saturday Night" and "50 Years of SNL Music."
