Stumped on what to be for Halloween? Dress as your rival.
A Queens, New York-based Burger King dressed up as McDonald's in 2016, and the epic costume resurfaced in an Instagram post shared by Complex on Thursday, October 16. In the photos, a white sheet covered the building, while another wrapped around the large street sign. Eyes were cut out on each of the circular Burger King signs, turning them into ghosts. "McDonald's" was spray-painted on each of the ghosts, with a cheeky message written on the letter board.
"BOOOOO! Just kidding — we still flame grill our burgers," the message read.
Burger King, home of the Whopper, reacted to their resurfaced costume in the comments section of the post, teasing, "Any ideas for this year??"
The look won the votes of fans, with some requesting that the fast food chain dress up as a different restaurant each year.

"If we beef we gon beef forever" [laughing emojis] if it were a person [laughing emojis] petty," one person commented.
A second added, "@mcdonalds you better be up, working on your get back [laughing emojis] cause BK really playing in yo face [sic]."
The playfully festive stunt also recently made its rounds on Facebook, including a post uploaded by an account named Wasted.
While most people cackled in the comments section of the post, others reflected on the Halloween pranks they had held while working in the fast food industry.
"When I was a teenager I wore my bfs burger king uniform to work at McDonald's and made a man forget which restaurant he walked into so he casually ordered a whopper," someone wrote. "I feel bad every time I think about it, guy was genuinely confused."
"I worked at a McDonald's years ago, and my friend worked at Taco Bell," a second person added. "We swapped uniforms to wear to work on Halloween."
