Tulane's 24-17 win over Army on Saturday came down to a forearm. After a closely contested game, the Green Wave picked up the winning touchdown in the final minute behind a wild bobbling catch from wide receiver Shazz Preston.
With a little over 30 seconds on the block, Tulane quarterback Jake Retzlaff found Preston for a 26-yard pass, but Preston had to grapple for the ball. Under pressure from two Army defenders, the ball ended up tapped into the air, but the redshirt junior juggled for a moment, tapping the ball up with his forearm before bringing it into his arms.
Once the ball was secured and Patrick Durkin hit the extra point, Preston's wild catch gave Tulane a 24-17 lead. The Black Knights had 30 seconds remaining to try and find an equalizing, but fell short as the Green Wave picked up another big conference win.
