"I've been insecure about my smile since I was a kid, but thanks to yall I don't have to be anymore," the country singer wrote

The "Fall in Love" artist previously said he had his braces removed prematurely to get rid of his lisp while singing

Bailey Zimmerman has a brand new set of pearly whites.

The "Fall in Love" singer, 25, debuted his new veneers on Instagram on Oct. 17 alongside the caption, "I finally have the smile I've always dreamed of … AND it's all thanks to @drgrayking and @jakebatemandds with @nashville_aesthetic_dentistry❤️."

The country star continued, "I've been insecure about my smile since I was a kid, but thanks to yall I don't have to be anymore … THANK YOU FOR CHANGING MY LIFE🔥🤘. WHAT DO YALL THINK?! Everybody gonna catch me cheesin' 24/7 now."

In January 2023, Zimmerman revealed that he had his braces removed early on in his career to help get rid of his lisp while he sang.

He recalled to Kelleigh Bannen on Today's Country at the time: "I was singing for like three people, and this dude that is also an artist named Dylan Wolfe from my hometown, he was like, 'Dude, have you ever tried to be — like actually sing?' and I was like, 'No man.' He was like, 'Well, you need to take your braces off because it's giving you a lisp when you sing, but if you do that, I think you can be an artist.' "

Luckily, Zimmerman had an orthodontist appointment the next day — and he didn't care if his teeth weren't completely "straight" yet. "I was like, 'Don't care, take them off, I'm done.' And a week later, I wrote my first song," the singer, who released his EP Leave the Light On that October, continued.

In addition to being open about the dental work he's had done, the "Rock and a Hard Place" artist also previously shared his opinion on spray tans while at the People's Choice Country Awards in Nashville last September.

"Well, I was supposed to get a spray tan again, but I didn't get one because my last one was doing pretty good still," he told Heather McMahan on E! Live from the Red Carpet. "I feel like they just get a bad rap for dudes. And honestly, who doesn't want to be tan? And a ginger like myself, we have a hard time tanning! So it makes me feel better, and I'm going to stick with 'we should legalize tans.' "

More recently, Zimmerman expressed to PEOPLE how excited he is for his upcoming Different Night Same Rodeo tour, which will kick off in Florida on Feb. 19.

"I honestly feel like I've been restricted in smaller venues. I have always had this dream and this idea for this arena show — this big, awesome show," Zimmerman said during the first night of the iHeartRadio Music Festival last month. "I'm really excited to, I guess, prove that next year, I can do it."

"There's something about being in an arena that brings it back to you, to where you can really control that environment," he continued of his first-ever arena tour. "I'm really excited to show people what I can do in there. I feel like I've been ready for it. I've been dreaming about it. I'm ready, I'm prepared. Let's go!"
