Week 8 has already delivered one big upset with No. 2 Miami falling at home. What else does this slate have in store?
The second half of the college football season begins Saturday with five matchups between ranked teams and a host of other intriguing games. No. 17 Vanderbilt got things started with a gritty home win over No. 10 LSU after another huge performance by QB Diego Pavia.
Here's how to watch college football this weekend. See below for what we're keeping an eye on later today (scroll down for live updates).
No. 5 Ole Miss at No. 9 Georgia, 3:30 ET, ABC
Trinidad Chambliss took over as Ole Miss' starter in Week 3 and hasn't looked back. He's even in the Heisman conversation now. Are the Bulldogs a good team, or are they title contenders? This matchup could show us plenty.
No. 11 Tennessee at No. 6 Alabama, 7:30 ET, ABC
The Volunteers are Alabama's fourth consecutive ranked opponent after victories against Georgia, Vanderbilt and Missouri. Ty Simpson is our midseason Heisman winner after his performance through the first six games of the season.
No. 20 USC at No. 13 Notre Dame, 7:30 ET, NBC
USC's got a long losing streak in South Bend; the Trojans are looking for their first win at Notre Dame since 2011. Given the way USC bossed Michigan, this could be their best chance in years.
No. 23 Utah at No. 15 BYU, 8 ET, Fox
The Holy War is here. It's the first test of the season for BYU and freshman QB Bear Bachmeier. And it's a very heated rivalry too. The Utes will surely be looking for payback after a controversial Cougars win in Salt Lake City last year.

Vandy's hero QB came through once again on third down with a scramble and smartly went down before the end zone to preserve the win.
That'll do it for this one barring a fumbled snap.
