The charges against the Osefos stem from a burglary the couple reported at their home in April 2024.
The Carroll County Sheriff's office shared details of the arrests to its official Facebook page on Oct. 10, alleging that the Osefos reported "approximately 80 items of jewelry, luxury goods, clothing, and shoes were stolen" from their Maryland home while they were on vacation, totaling upwards of $200,000. But a subsequent investigation turned up at least $20,000 worth of the reported items, and even more images of Wendy wearing some of the allegedly stolen items after the burglary was purported to have taken place.
When reached for comment, a rep for the Osefos told EW that the couple, "alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court." No information on future court dates is currently available.
This is the latest legal battle faced by a RHOP star. In February, the "grand dame of Potomac," cast member Karen Huger, was hit with a 2-year prison sentence after being charged with a DUI.
