Mel Owens has picked his final two ladies on The Golden Bachelor, and his eliminated contestants have exclusively told Parade they believe will win.

On Wednesday night's hometowns episode, Owens selected Cindy Cullers and Peg Munson as his finalists and said goodbye to personal trainer Debbie Siebers.

Now, fans are looking forward to finding out who will win the former football player's heart on the upcoming Golden Bachelor's second season finale, airing Nov. 5. And those who know Owens' picks best, some of the women he sent home, have shared their opinions on retired biomedical engineer Cindy, 60, and former firefighter Peg, 62.

After her ouster in third place, Debbie, 65, told Parade, "They're so different. Peg is just a ball of fire. She's got so much energy. She'd be the first to bolt out of bed [in the Bachelor house] at 5 a.m., and she's already in the jacuzzi and working out, and she's very fun. She's super smart. I just love how accomplished and tough she is, but she's got a very soft interior. [Peg] comes across as very tough, but she's just a sweetheart. We shared a bathroom and a bedroom together, so we bonded quite a bit. And she just made me laugh."

Celebrity fitness guru Debbie opined on Peg's rival, "Cindy is just so calming to be around. She's got this demeanor. Even when she was cooking in the kitchen, she's just got this calmness and ease about her. She has this quiet confidence and she's so present when she's talking to you, so eloquent. Just a beautiful soul and so compassionate and kind. It's not that Peg isn't all those things. It's just Peg is just more loud and crazy and Cindy is completely the opposite. I guess they both brought something completely different out of Mel."

When pressed on who will win, however, Debbie told Parade, "Peg really brings the fun out of him and I think because of all the mantras and the toasts that he always did was to love happiness and fun. And I think he's looking for that lightheartedness and fun, nothing too heavy but just somebody who's going to make him come out of himself a little bit more. So I think it might be Peg."

Also, Debbie feels Peg will be perfect with 66-year-old divorced Mel's family, saying, "She loves sports. She's so used to being around the guys [from firefighting], and it's Mel and his two sons watching sports all the time. I just think it would be an easy fit."

Cheryl Steele, a ex-IRS worker and motocross driver, 66, told Parade, "Peg is full of energy. She's an amazing gal. She has a strong personality and it's really lovely. She'd be good for him. She can entertain [Mel]."

But Cheryl said, "Cindy, I really connected with. She's a woman of faith, and so am I. And she's so well-rounded and so nourishing. I think she can cook. I believe that [Cindy] would be good for Mel."

When asked if she wanted Cindy to win, Cheryl smiled, "I would. She was very emotional over him. We would pray together and say, 'Lord, help Mel make a decision.' I think she would be the one that I would pick for sure."

Show villain Nicolle Briscoe, 64, agreed that Cindy looks like the front-runner, saying, "I totally understand that Cindy is compelling and beautiful and smart. I hope that she wins. I saw Peg more as a bromance than a romance, but who knows? That's just through my lens. It's whoever he loves and connects with more. I wish him the best with whichever one he chooses."

A couple of the other castoff ladies just can't decide what Owens' final decision will be. Carol Freeman-Branstine, a 63-year-old family manager for Los Angeles Dodgers baseball player Freddie Freeman, said, "You couldn't pick two more different women in the house…Peg is very fun and kind of crazy in a good way. And then Cindy is so eloquent, I would call her a Disney princess…What is he looking for? Polar opposites! It's hard to figure out."

Another woman who didn't go the distance with Mel, nurse Gerri Flowers, 64, also sighed to Parade that she's on the fence, although she is leaning Team Cindy. "He's got some hard choices. I don't know. It's like choosing between your children," Gerri said. "Who's your favorite? Can you really choose? I like them both. I mean, my heart tugs at Cindy. She was my roommate so I'm very close to her."

Fans will have to tune in to find out who Owens picks when The Golden Bachelor airs its Season 2 finale on Wednesday, Nov. 5 on ABC!
