Nancy Meyers is paying homage to the late Diane Keaton.

Keaton, who died at 79 on Oct. 11, days after contracting a bacterial pneumonia infection, appeared in Meyers' film Something's Gotta Give in 2003. On Friday, Oct. 24, the director shared a sweet behind-the-scenes moment from filming the movie more than 20 years ago.

In the photo shared on Instagram, Jack Nicholson lies in bed while Keaton, who's wearing rollers in her hair, kisses him on the cheek. The camera crew is all smiles setting up the shot. "One of my favorite set stills," Meyers, 75, began the Instagram caption.

"Rehearsing mouth to mouth. This photo has been sitting on a table in my office for over 20 years, and it still brings a smile to my face," Meyers wrote.

Meyers and Keaton were frequent collaborators, working together on the Father of the Bride series (1991 and 1995), Baby Boom (1987), and Something's Gotta Give (2003).

The director previously paid tribute to the late Oscar winner in an Instagram post on Oct. 13, two days after her death.

"These past 48 hours have not been easy," Meyers began her caption. "Seeing all of your tributes to Diane has been a comfort. As a movie lover, I'm with you all — we have lost a giant. A brilliant actress who time and again laid herself bare to tell our stories."

Meyers described Keaton as a "friend of almost 40 years," one who, at times, "felt like a sister because we shared so many truly memorable experiences."

"As a filmmaker, I've lost a connection with an actress that one can only dream of," she wrote. "We all search for that someone who really gets us, right? Well, with Diane, I believe we mutually had that."

Aside from her collaborations with Meyers, Keaton notably appeared in The Godfather trilogy, Annie Hall, First Wives Club, and more iconic films. She won an Oscar for Best Actress in 1977 for her portrayal of the titular character in Annie Hall.

Keaton is survived by her two kids, daughter Dexter, 29, and son Duke, 25.
