The Toronto Blue Jays are playing in the World Series for the first time since 1993 — and behind every player is a cheering section packed with family.
Toronto punched its ticket for a spot on baseball's biggest stage by winning the American League Championship Series (ALCS) on Oct. 20, 2025, after a seven-game series against the Seattle Mariners.
Following the final out, the Blue Jays' families poured onto the field to celebrate. Pitcher Kevin Gausman scooped up his two daughters before hugging his wife, Taylor Gausman. Meanwhile, first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was seen joyfully embracing his wife, Nathalie, and their daughter.
Ahead of the World Series opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Gausman spoke with KiSS 92.5 about baseball and fatherhood — and what he's told his kids about playing for a championship.
"I've told them that daddy is trying to get a big trophy and a big ring," he shared. "[I told them] if I get the ring, they can wear it whenever they want. They're pretty fired up. The idea of getting a big, huge ring is really exciting for two little girls."
Here's everything to know about the families of the Toronto Blue Jays players.
