Trina Vega is heading back to the classroom!

Netflix has now officially announced a Victorious spinoff, Hollywood Arts, with original series star Daniella Monet reprising her role of Trina Vega — who is now an unqualified substitute teacher returning to her titular alma mater and clashing with the latest class of talented students, per an official series synopsis.

On Friday, Oct. 24, the streamer released behind-the-scenes snaps from the series and announced a list of its main cast members for the 26-episode order.

The series, which is set to debut on Netflix in 2026 before arriving on both Nickelodeon and Paramount+, kicks off production this month in Vancouver.

"Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do," Monet, 36, said in a statement. "Victorious was in a lot of ways life changing for all of us, our cast is forever bonded by that experience, and to think that I have an opportunity to steward anything close to that is a feeling I can't begin to describe."

She added, "As an actress, producer, and mom, I am so eager to create something we can all be proud to share with the world."

Additional cast members announced for the series include Alyssa Miles (Hanging out with Alyssa and Xavier), Emmy Liu-Wang (Raven's Home), Peyton Jackson (Woman in the Yard), Erika Swayze (School Spirits) and Martin Kamm (Unsung Hero). Yvette Nicole Brown will also appear as a guest star.

"Struggling actress Trina Vega (Daniella Monet) returns to her former high school, Hollywood Arts, as an unqualified substitute teacher, quickly finding herself both clashing with and unexpectedly inspiring a new generation of ambitious and talented students as they learn to find their true path at Hollywood's most elite performing arts school," the show's logline reads.

Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin will serve as showrunners, writers and executive producers for Hollywood Arts, as Jonathan Judge will direct and executive produce. Monet will also serve as executive producer.

Cast of Nickelodeon's 'Victorious' in 2010

The spinoff will arrive over a decade after Victorious wrapped in 2013. The series, which debuted on Nickelodeon in 2010, ran for four seasons and starred Victoria Justice alongside Ariana Grande, Leon Thomas and more. It marks the show's second spinoff following Sam & Cat.

Netflix and Nickelodeon confirmed the spinoff news on Instagram on Friday, sharing a clip of Monet and Brown chatting on set, with glimpses of the Hollywood Arts campus. Monet also appeared in a paparazzi-inspired video, holding up two signs that read "the rumors are true" and "Hollywood Arts is in production."

PEOPLE previously confirmed in February that Nickelodeon was in the process of developing Hollywood Arts. It was unclear at the time if fellow former Victorious cast members would be joining Monet in the new series.

Victorious is currently available to stream on Netflix.
