Kelly Osbourne is continuing to honor her late father.
Almost three months after Ozzy Osbourne died, Kelly, 40, accepted a prestigious accolade on behalf of the late rocker at the Birmingham Awards on Friday, Oct. 17.
"Last night I had the honor of accepting my father's life time achievement award on his behalf at the @birminghamawards," Kelly wrote in an Instagram post a day later.
"I can't thank everyone enough for their love and support. I know that my dad was shining down on us from heaven with pride because being a #Brummy meant more to him than anything," she continued. "He loved the city and he loved the people."
Added Kelly: "This honor would have meant the world to him. From the bottom of my heart thank you. #birminghamforever."

Ozzy's family — which also includes daughter Aimee Osbourne, son Jack Osbourne and wife Sharon Osbourne, plus Jessica Osbourne, Louis Osbourne and Elliot Osbourne — announced his death on July 22, weeks after he performed in Birmingham, England, for Black Sabbath's final concert. He was 76.
"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," the Osbourne family told PEOPLE in a statement. "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."

Ozzy died of "out-of-hospital cardiac arrest" and "acute myocardial infarction," with coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction listed as "joint causes," according to a death certificate obtained by PEOPLE.
His family said their final goodbyes to him during an emotional funeral procession on July 30, which took place in Birmingham.

A tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.
Last month, Kelly spoke about adapting to her normal, and highlighted how she found her "smile again" after the death of her father.
Sharing a photo of herself with a falcon on her Instagram Stories, she wrote, "In all my sadness and grief, I have found something that truly makes me happy!"
"I never thought I would find my smile again through falconry but I did," Kelly continued. "I absolutely love being with the birds."
The post was shared weeks after Kelly remembered Ozzy through a sentimental tribute post. "The love, support, and beautiful messages I've received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life," she wrote at the time, thanking her fans for their support.
"Grief is a strange thing, it sneaks up on you in waves — I will not be ok for a while, but knowing my family is not alone in our pain makes a difference," Kelly continued. "I'm holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind."
