- *The Drew Barrymore Show *previously went viral for Drew Barrymore smelling her own feet.
- Now, the host is taking a whiff of the feet of her cohosts, Ross Mathews and Sunny Anderson.
- "I can't believe anyone was talking about the fact that we smell each other's feet," Barrymore exclaimed.
After Ross Mathews and Sunny Anderson made headlines for smelling Drew Barrymore's feet on her talk show, the actress is officially returning the favor. **
Barrymore happily sniffed both Anderson and Mathews' feet — which were both deemed to be scentless, thank you very much — during a discussion about their now-viral foot footage on Friday's episode of *The Drew Barrymore Show.* **
"Did you all see, there's some news about Drew, Sunny, and me — did you see it went viral?" Mathews asked Barrymore. "The other week we did a segment on the show and you had us smell your feet?"

The footage cut over to their original foot-smelling session, which featured Barrymore smelling her reportedly scentless foot before Anderson and Mathews joined in on the fun and took a whiff themselves.
After the segment aired, Mathews explained, "I started getting alerts that this went viral every publication, every magazine, every website, we were smelling your feet. People are into some *stuff*."**
Anderson had a similar experience. "My DMs flooded with my friends like, 'So you're just gonna smell her feet like that? You're gonna smell her feet?'" she said. "I was like, 'They don't smell like anything!' They really don't!"

Barrymore, who hadn't heard that the clip had since gone viral, immediately had some questions. "Wait, were people upset about it?" she asked, seemingly concerned that the foot smelling situation had rubbed viewers the wrong way. She added, "Oh god?!"**
Mathews quickly assuaged the host's fears. "No!" he said. "It's not something you see all the time, right? You're flipping the channels and you're like, 'Oh, they're smelling Drew Barrymore's feet.' Oh, well. Mental note."**
He then turned the tables on Barrymore. "Since we smelled your feet, do you want to smell our feet?" he asked. To which Barrymore eagerly replied, "Yes! Can I smell your feet?"

The *Never Been Kissed *star went for Anderson's feet first. "Thank God I got a pedicure yesterday, are you serious?" Anderson exclaimed. "I'm not even wearing socks, Drew! I'm so nervous!" **
The professional chef, who had never smelled her own feet before, screamed as Barrymore picked up her foot and gave it a sniff. "Scentless! There's no scent!" Barrymore declared, before miming eating Anderson's toes. "Look how beautiful those toes [are]!"

Barrymore smells Mathews' feet.

Mathews was equally nervous about how his toes might smell. "In my defense, these are hot out of the oven!" he shouted as Barrymore and Anderson lifted his leg up to smell his foot. "No! No! No!" **
Still, Anderson noted that she could "smell nothing" from his feet, either. "Oh my god, I was so terrified," Mathews confessed. "That is so invasive! Smell my hot foot out of my loafer!"**
Barrymore couldn't help but laugh at the trio going viral for getting up close and personal with each other's toes. "I can't believe anyone was talking about the fact that we smell each other's feet," she said.
"It's not normal," Anderson acknowledged, sending the pair into a fit of laughter.
And, finding a silver lining, Mathews explained that they may have inadvertently started a brand new trend. "Go home today, smell your friend's feet, everyone!" he said. "Do it!"**
"And if you don't have someone at home with you, pretzel up and get it in," Anderson said, with Barrymore adding, "Smell yourself! Who knows what's ever gonna go viral these days."
