By the power of Grayskull, Dolph Lundgren may revisit Eternia in the upcoming reboot of *Masters of the Universe.*

Lundgren teased his return to the He-Man franchise in a recent interview with *Extra. *When asked by host Derek Hough if he would be making an appearance in the 2026 film, which stars Nicholas Galitzine, the actor played coy.

"Maybe, yeah, you'll have to check it out when it comes out," Lundgren said.

Lundgren played He-Man, the alter ego of Prince Adam of Eternia, in the 1987 movie. In 2012, the *Rocky IV *star expressed interest in playing the warrior's father, King Randor, in a reboot.

"I wouldn't wanna take my shirt off again for three months and wear that diaper or whatever it was I was wearing, loincloth," he told IGN. "So I'd rather play the king."

James Purefoy is set to play the role in the new film.**

*Masters of the Universe *is expected to hit theaters next summer. Galitzine shared a first look at his version of He-Man in an Instagram post in June after filming wrapped.

"Well, that's a wrap on Masters of the Universe," the *Idea of You* actor wrote in the caption. "It has been an honour shouldering the responsibility of playing Adam and He Man. It's been the role of a lifetime and I put everything into it."

Not much has been revealed about the upcoming film; however, Mattel exec PJ Lewis previously told * *that visiting the set gave him goosebumps.

"The moment that stands out was seeing the Power Sword for the first time, but also being in some of the sets and seeing the visual nature from the set design — we built an incredible world, and it's gonna be really exciting for us to bring to our fans," Lewis said.**
