Lily Allen told Perfect that she got a boob job to help with her body proportion after changes to her weight and body size

"I got really, really thin when I was feeling at my lowest, in the past year or so," the singer told the outlet, before noting that she knew "had to gain weight"

Allen recently told British Vogue that she shares a plastic surgeon with Kris Jenner

Lily Allen is opening up about her recent boob job.

In an interview with Perfect published on Thursday, Oct. 21, the English singer, 40, shared the reason why she went through with the procedure. "I got really, really thin when I was feeling at my lowest, in the past year or so. Or longer, actually," she explained. "And I knew that I had to gain weight. And I've always been bottom-heavy and so I had a fear that if I was to gain weight, my body would feel out of proportion."

She continued, "And so I felt like, why not gift myself a get-out clause? Make it feel more enticing."

Allen also shared that she has a "f---ing massive lump in my right boob" — though, she doesn't know if that's connected to her breast augmentation.

In March, the singer revealed she had gotten the procedure on an episode of her Miss Me? podcast. At the time, she shared that her while her breasts "look really incredible," they were still in the process of healing.

"I mean, there's a thing that happens a few months after you get them, which is that they drop and fluff," said Allen. "So they're still quite high and they're still quite hard. When they drop and fluff, they become like, you know, they feel like normal boobs."

"So I haven't got to drop and fluff yet," she continued. "I'm very much looking forward to that. But I feel like it's really fun."

In an interview with British Vogue earlier this month, Allen revealed that she and Kris Jenner share a plastic surgeon. The "Smile" hitmaker told the outlet that her boob job was done by the same doctor who did Jenner's viral face lift earlier this year.

PEOPLE confirmed in May that Jenner had undergone aesthetic enhancements from plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Levine in New York City, as first reported by Page Six.

British Vogue journalist Olivia Marks said the topic of conversation came up after Allen showed off her new boobs, causing Marks to tell her, "He must be getting a lot of referrals." In response, Allen said, "Well, I don't think he needs them because he did Kris Jenner's face a couple of weeks after me."

Jenner, 69, announced that she got a facelift in a cover story for Vogue Arabia's September issue. "I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh," The Kardashians star explained to the outlet in an interview published in late August. "I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy."

She continued, "Just because you get older, it doesn't mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don't want to do anything – then don't do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It's my version."
