Candace Cameron Bure says she got most of the "tears out" in the lead-up to her daughter Natasha Bure's wedding — but there was one moment on the big day when she completely "lost it."
Natasha, 27, tied the knot with actor Bradley Steven Perry at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, Calif., on Sept. 14, surrounded by 150 loved ones. Reflecting on the emotional occasion during an appearance on Jennie Garth's I Choose Me podcast, Candace described the wedding as "such a beautiful day."
"It was everything they hoped it would be," she said on the podcast's Oct. 21 episode, adding, "It's a bit surreal when your kids get married. And it's so emotional."
The Fuller House star, 49, went on to explain that there were several pre-wedding festivities before the big day — including Natasha's bridal shower, her bachelorette weekend and lots of family dinners — which gave her an opportunity to release some emotions.
"A lot of words and tears are said and shed, so when you get to the actual day of the ceremony … of course I cried, but I feel like I got, like, the really ugly tears out before the wedding," she told Garth, 53.

However, one moment really got to her emotionally as a mom.
"It was neat because Natasha and Bradley did their first look before the wedding … and I was there for the moment, and that's when I lost it," the Home Sweet Christmas actress recalled. "I was a total mess because they were just so sweet."
She joked that the pair's first look was "private," so she resorted to catching a glimpse of the romantic proceedings by "spying in the bushes."
Garth then remarked how she looks forward to — but also "sort of dreads" — the time when her own daughters get married. "I don't know, there's something about giving your daughters over to a guy and just, 'Fingers crossed, good luck,' " explained the Beverly Hills, 90201 star, who shares Luca, 28, Lola, 22, and Fiona, 19, with ex-husband Peter Facinelli.

Candace replied, "I know, it does feel different to have your son married versus your daughter. But the good thing is I have two great children-in-law."
"I love our daughter-in-law so much, and we're so close," she continued, referring to her son Lev's wife, Elliott Dunham. "And I love Bradley so much. He's a wonderful man. I feel like we won the lottery with our children's spouses."
In addition to Natasha and Lev, 25, Candace shares son Maksim, 23, with husband Valeri Bure.
While previously sharing exclusive details about her wedding with PEOPLE, Natasha revealed the special — and sentimental — role her mom had in the ceremony.

Putting her own spin on a classic wedding tradition, Natasha had Cameron be her "something blue" by wearing a blue gown on the day.
"She means the absolute world to me, so having her honored in that way felt so right," the bride explained, calling it a "special" moment between mother and daughter.
