Route 66, Muhammad Ali, Phillis Wheatley and the Declaration of Independence will all be honored on United States Postal Service stamps in 2026.
On Wednesday, Oct. 29, the USPS announced 19 stamp designs to be unveiled in 2026. The stamp collections honor the natural world, celebrate the United States' 250th anniversary and reflect on the diverse individuals and communities that contribute to American history.
The stamps will be available for purchase throughout next year at local post offices and the official USPS website. Release dates for all of the designs have yet to be shared.

Take a look at the USPS' 2026 stamps
The following 19 stamps do not represent the USPS' full stamp lineup for 2026. More stamps and release dates will be announced as the new year approaches.
4-cent Angels' Trumpets
The 2026 4-cent Angel's Trumpets stamp features a backlit photo of an angel's trumpets captured by Harold Davis. The stamp is a part of the USPS' low-denomination flower stamp collection.
The 4-cent stamp featuring a photograph of Angel's Trumpets follows the USPS' 2024 release of low-denomination flower stamps, including the 1-cent Fringed Tulip, 2-cent Daffodils, 3-cent Peonies, 5-cent Red Tulips and 10-cent Poppies and Coneflowers. These stamps are sold in panes of 20 or coils of 10,000.
To create the 4-cent stamp, photographer Harold Davis backlist the flowers, combining multiple images from different exposures, according to an USPS news release.
Muhammad Ali
The 2026 Muhammad Ali stamps feature the three-time world heavyweight boxing champion. The stamps feature a 1974 photo and the name "Ali" in all caps. The stamps will be issued on Jan. 15, 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky.
