Elaine Hendrix is loving the spotlight once again, not just from her Dancing With the Stars Season 34 appearance but also from a beloved character she once brought to life.

The 54-year-old actress, best known for her role as Meredith Blake in the hit movie The Parent Trap, is basking in the limelight after the fan-favorite character became a viral sensation.

Fresh off her performance on DWTS Week 3, the Superstar actress gets honest as she talks about the fan-favorite character and how it is gaining a cultural resurgence thanks to millennials.

According to her, she doesn't consider Meredith Blake an evil character and is glad that millennials on social media feel the same.

"When we first filmed The Parent Trap, I said from day 1 Meredith Blake was not a villain," she told E! News, adding "Of course that's me speaking as an actress defending my character but all I had to do was to wait a few years and the millennials came around and scoop that idea up and made it a trend and I am so grateful because I am madly in love with that movie, with that character."

Moreover, Hendrix is thankful that the audience has started seeing the beloved character in a different light, making Blake a trending topic online.

Released in 1998, The Parent Trap starred then 11-year-old Lindsay Lohan, who played twins Hallie Parker and Annie James.

As for the then 26-year-old actress, Hendrix took on the memorable role of Meredith Blake, the glamorous young fiancée of Hallie Parker's dad and her soon-to-be stepmother.

On social media, younger millennials and Gen Z are not only swooning over her stunning old-money outfits but also decoding her persona as a confident woman who knows her worth and knows exactly what she wants.

As for the true villain, the Romy and Michele's High School Reunion actress previously told Today that it is either the "11-year-old twins who pushed me out on a raft after I had taken a sleeping pill," referring to Lohan's character, or "the parents who separated them to begin with" pertaining to Natasha Richardson and Dennis Quaid's roles.

Now, besides revisiting her legendary character, Hendrix is dazzling the audience with her power moves on DWTS.

In the latest episode, she and dancing partner Alan Bersten brought the TikTok Nights theme to a whole new height with a tango to "Gnarly" by KATSEYE scoring 21/30.
