Nicole Kidman's appearance at Vogue World: Hollywood was practically magic.
The actress, 58, arrived on the scene looking as glamorous as ever in celebration of Vogue's runway show at Los Angeles' Paramount Studios lot on Oct. 26.
Kidman, who's Vogue's October cover star, kicked things off with a backstage version of "Put the Blame on Mame," the song performed by Rita Hayworth as the titular character in the classic 1946 film Gilda.

To open the show, Kidman wore a Chanel by Matthieu Blazy black, draped satin bustier dress that was decorated with black satin camellias. The detail served as a subtle nod to the black dress Hayworth wore in the Gilda scene.
In fact, Gilda performs a song in that specific scene, which was the same song that soundtracked Kidman's walk during her memorable Vogue World: Hollywood moment.
Her glam was also a nod to Old Hollywood. She wore a bold red lip and smokey eye, paired with her blonde bombshell curls parted on the side.
Kidman's catwalk moment comes amid her separation from Keith Urban after 19 years of marriage. The Oscar winner filed for divorce in Nashville on Sept. 30 and cited irreconcilable differences.
Earlier this month, a source told PEOPLE that Kidman — who has no less than six television series coming soon, including a return to the A-list ensemble drama Big Little Lies, plus a role reprisal in the Practical Magic sequel — is "surrounded by the two things that matter the most to her," which are "her family and her work." She is also "keeping it positive" as she navigates her new normal. "She isn't someone who dwells on regrets — she believes everything happens for a reason."
On Oct. 4, Kidman made her first appearance after news of her and Urban's split broke was at amFAR's Dallas auction in Texas. There, she took the stage to present an award for Yellowstone creator and her Lioness collaborator, Taylor Sheridan.

Kidman continued to step out in style just two days later at Paris Fashion Week, where she attended the Chanel Spring/Summer 2026 fashion show hours after she was announced as a new brand ambassador for the house.
She kept her fashion cool and casual in a pair of cashmere jeans (yes, cashmere!), a relaxed-fitted button-up shirt and some new bangs that her hairstylist, Adir Abergel, described as "fresh" and "effortless" with a "'70s French vibe."
Although she admitted that she was "nervous" for the high-profile event, Kidman had the support from her two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14 (both of whom she shares with Urban) and appeared to be in good spirits during the trip from the looks of a candid film photo Sunday shared to Instagram in a carousel of her Fashion Week outtakes.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar published on Oct. 9, Kidman opened up about how much her children have fed purpose into her life when asked about what keeps her "vibrant and energized."
"My children [give me the] purpose of being their protector and their guide, promising them that I'm here and that, no matter what, there's always a safe place to grow up in," said Kidman, who also shares two children, Bella, 32, and Connor, 30, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Vogue debuted its runway franchise in 2022 with Vogue World: New York, later bringing the star-studded event to London and Paris in 2023 snd 2024 respectively.
Per the publication, this year's West Coast presentation is based around "a mix of original costumes" made my revered costumers including Colleen Atwood and Ruth E. Carter, as well as "new interpretations of classic movie looks" from the likes of Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs and more. Doja Cat and Gracie Abrahams are this year's performers.
100% of ticket proceeds will go to the Entertainment Community Fund, with a focus on supporting costume community professionals impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires, the brand shared in a press release.
