Hailey Bieber likes who she is now that she's become a mom — and she's not afraid to share it.
Speaking with WSJ. Magazine for its innovators issue, the Rhode founder, 28, shared that she's found a new "ferocity" in motherhood that wasn't there before. Hailey became a mom after welcoming her baby son, Jack Blues, with husband Justin Bieber in August 2024.
"I like who I am so much more now than I did before I had my son," said Hailey. "You gain this silent strength and confidence. You can't tell me the same s--- that you could tell me before."
"You're not f------ with me after I pushed a human out of my body," she added.

It's not just that aspect of her personality that's changed since becoming a mom. Elsewhere in the article, Hailey admitted that she's become less social and more of a homebody since having Jack.
"I feel like time has just become so precious," she said. "Having kids makes you realize that."
This past May, Hailey spoke with Vogue about all things motherhood, including her experience giving birth. The proud mom shared that despite preparing her body for labor by trying out acupuncture, yoga and pelvic-floor therapy, she didn't have the spontaneous, easy delivery she hoped for.

"Giving birth was the hardest thing I've ever done," she told the outlet. "I was on that s---. I was doing everything. I felt stronger physically than I ever had before."
At 39 weeks, Hailey began leaking amniotic fluid and had to be induced. Doctors gave her Pitocin, a medication used to provoke contractions, and a Foley balloon, which is a catheter-like device that gets the cervix to dilate.

"That s--- was so crazy," she said of the experience. "That was not fun. They broke my water. I went into labor and I labored for a few hours. No epidural, nothing."
Hailey said her labor lasted 18 hours from the beginning to the birth of her baby boy. After delivering Jack, she had a postpartum hemorrhage, a potentially life-threatening condition of severe or excessive bleeding after childbirth, per Cleveland Clinic, which the model admitted was "a little bit scary."
"I trust my doctor with my life, and so I had peace that I knew she would never let anything happen to me. But I was bleeding really badly, and people die, and the thought crosses your mind," she said.
Hailey also shared in that interview that she had to address the onslaught of hate comments she received in recent months, as well as ongoing speculations about her marriage.
"Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I've ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult," she told the outlet. "And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, 'They're getting divorced' and 'They're this' and 'They're not happy,' it is such a mindf----."
Hailey added, "I cannot even begin to explain it. It's a crazy life to live."
