Blerta shared a peek behind the scenes of the photo shoot for the engagement announcement on her personal Instagram handle
The royal engagement was announced six months after Crown Prince Leka's divorce from his first wife, Crown Princess Elia, was finalized
Crown Prince Leka of Albania is getting married again, and his bride-to-be is giving a peek into the festivities.
On Oct. 12, Crown Prince Leka, 43, used his official Instagram to announce his engagement to Blerta Celibashi.
According to Hello! magazine, the couple took their relationship public in September 2024, and their engagement was announced six months after Leka's divorce from his first wife, Crown Princess Elia, was finalized.
On Oct. 13, Blerta posted a reel to her own Instagram that showed her having her hair and makeup done for the photo shoot for the engagement announcement, as well as a video from behind the scenes of the photo call.
In the video set to the song "So This Is Love" by Sneha featuring ConTejas, Blerta sat in the glam chair while having her hair done and makeup applied— but put on her mascara herself!
The frame then flashed to Blerta, a photographer, all glammed up and wearing a champagne gown with statement earrings.

The bride-to-be smiled over her shoulder, and the frame then flashed to her posing with Crown Prince Leka and his daughter, Princess Geraldine, 4, whom he shares with Elia.
The snippet gave an intimate glimpse into the photos behind the engagement, which was announced on Sunday.
"The Royal Family is pleased to announce the engagement of His Majesty, Crown Prince Leka II of Albanians me Miss Blerta Celibashi," said the statement attributed to the Albanian Royal Court, per a translation into English. The message was shared in a joint post between Crown Prince Leka and Blerta's pages.
"The engagement was joyfully celebrated on October 11, 2025, in Ksamil, in the south of Albania, in the presence of family and close friends," it continued. "The Royal Family shares its happiness with the Albanian people and expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all those who have sent their good wishes on this joyous occasion."

The update came with two photos of the couple: one where they formally posed together in an airy room, and the second showing Leka wrapping Blerta in a cuddly hug outside.
Blerta also shared three solo photos on her own Instagram page, including a close-up photo of her sparkling engagement ring.
"There was love in the air, and peace in my heart 💚," she captioned the carousel on Oct. 14.
The marriage will be the second for Crown Prince Leka, who is the head of the Albanian royal family. In April 2024, he and Elia each released statements to announce their split in a divorce that was reportedly finalized one year later.
