Following a slew of show cancellations from HGTV this summer, the network has revealed a number of new and returning series that fans can expect to see in the next year.
On Thursday, Aug. 21, they detailed their upcoming lineup and revealed that "over 100" new episodes can be expected in 2025 and 2026, per a press release. The announcement comes after seven fan-favorite shows were canceled earlier this summer, in addition to reports that the network had lost almost half its viewers in the last 8 years.
While fans no doubt have plenty of programming to look forward to in the next year, here are a few intriguing takeaways from the network's latest announcement.
Don't Hate Your House with the Property Brothers Is Still Awaiting an Air Date

Drew and Jonathan Scott currently have two shows airing on HGTV: Celebrity IOU and their new series Chasing the West. The latter is mentioned in the press release, with the network noting that new episodes of the current season will premiere in September.
However, their other show, Don't Hate Your House with the Property Brothers, is not included in the lineup.
The series, which first premiered in November 2024, was originally set to return to HGTV with an eight-episode second season on July 30, Us Weekly and House Beautiful previously reported.
According to a June 5 press release, the network later noted that season 2 would premiere "later this year." A new date for the season premiere was not stated in HGTV's latest release.
Alison Victoria Has a New Spin-Off After Her Other Show Was Canceled

Windy City Rehab star Alison Victoria is officially getting a new spin-off, Sin City Rehab, which will premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
The series will follow the Chicago-native designer as she starts from scratch in a new city: Las Vegas. She'll work to expand her design business out west and tackle some "risky flips" in a "flashy new market," per the release.
Victoria's new show announcement comes after she revealed Battle on the Beach — the home design competition series she hosted with Taniya Nayak and Ty Pennington — was not returning for another season.
"Battle on the Beach did not get picked back up, which is sad, because it was like adult spring break," she shared in a July 1 episode of her Pap Smear Podcast.
It is not clear whether Windy City Rehab has been picked up for another season. Season five premiered in September 2024.
The Flip Off Is Getting a Season 2, but the Teams Aren't What Fans Predicted

While a source told PEOPLE in July thatThe Flip Off had been picked up for season 2, the network officially announced the news in their recent release.
However, fans who were looking for the show's stars to switch teams in season 2 might be disappointed to hear that the format is staying the same.
Husband and wife duo Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa will return as teammates to compete against Tarek's ex-wife Christina Haack in the second installment of the house flipping competition series. However, this time around, "Christina will throw out the rule book and do everything she can to beat Tarek and Heather Rae," according to the release.
Heather previously opened up to PEOPLE in June about how "fun" it would be if she were to team up with Haack against Tarek in season 2.
"I think that it would be super fun," Heather told PEOPLE at the time. "I think that people would love to see Christina and I working together and beating my husband because he thinks that he could beat us, especially in a design contest."
A New Napier Series is Coming

HGTV is continuing to show love to stars Erin and Ben Napier by renewing their hit series Home Town for a new season that will air in early 2026.
The married designer and builder are also getting a new spin-off series called Home Town: Inn This Together which is also slated to premiere next year. The show will follow Erin and Ben as they "restore the dilapidated 1930 Kress building" in their hometown of Laurel, Miss., and work towards turning it into a hotel.
Along with this show, the couple star in another spin-off series called Home Town: Takeover where they work to revitalize small towns across the country just like they do with Laurel on Home Town.
