Margot Robbie is sharing her relatable take on motherhood.
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the "Barbie" star talked about the difficulty of translating the magic of motherhood to those who haven't experienced it firsthand.
Promoting her new film, "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey" (in theaters Sept. 19), Robbie, who stars in the romantasy film alongside Colin Farrell, said explaining parenthood to non-parents can feel "boring."
"If you try to explain it to someone who has kids, you don't need to, 'cause they get it," the actress joked. "And if they don't, it's probably just really boring to hear, so you're just kind of like 'It's the best.'"

Robbie, 35, shares one child with husband Tom Ackerley, 35. Her comments to ET mark one of the first times the actress has spoken publicly about having a child. She remained fairly mum during her pregnancy and has not publicly announced the name of her child.
Farrell, for his part, chimed in on the charms of parenthood, joking that he was "two decades in, still treading water most days."

"Oh my God, it's meant everything to me, being a dad," Farrell, 49, told the interviewers. He has two sons: Heny, 15, and James, 21.
"And yet I don't want to put that they're everything to me on them…" he said. "But they are the most important facet of my life… they've taught me so much."
Their film, which draws on the growing popularity of the romantic-fantasy genre, casts Robbie and Farrell as two singles thrown together by fantastical forces, offered the chance to relive their pasts and change their future.
