Collin Gosselin opened up about his relationship with his siblings in a TikTok live video shared on Aug. 20
He shared plans to continue posting on social media, saying that he was treating TikTok as a "journal" in the hopes that his estranged siblings would be able to keep up with him from afar

Kate and Jon Gosselin's son, Collin Gosselin, is detailing where he stands with his siblings.In a TikTok live video on Aug. 20, Collin opened up about his relationship with his siblings, years after he and his sister Hannah chose to move in with their father after he and Kate were divorced.
"Unfortunately, it's just not something that is easy for me to talk about," the former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star shared during the live video, saying that he had hesitated to take the topic to social media."As you can see, I don't post on Instagram, I don't post on TikTok much," he said. "I'm still getting in the groove of things, but, you know, I've realized I love to share my videos with you guys," he said to his followers."I look at it more like moving forward and just kind of sharing content, and also for like TikTok at least, unfortunately, I don't talk to my siblings, and I very much wish that we did and that they knew who I actually was because we don't know each other at all," he continued.

Collin said that he hoped his siblings were following along with his TikTok updates, using it as "a journal to make videos and hope that they see them.""It's still a little tough to talk about these things and to do social media in general," he shared.
He also opened up about his relationship with Hannah, with whom he seems to have stayed in closer contact."I do still talk to Hannah," he said. "I actually just texted her today, you know, she's in college doing her thing. I always say, though, Hannah's just very like living the life, you know, like having fun, always doing something, so we catch up when we can."Collin cited busy schedules, as the two of them are both off at college, making it hard for them to see each other.
The former reality TV star also teased that he was writing a book during the live.
Collin previously posted an emotional update to his TikTok, opening up further about his relationship with his siblings, writing a message to them about how growing up on TV changed their relationships.

Over a throwback photo of himself and his siblings as young kids, Collin wrote, "Born to be a team, us against the world." In another photo, he wrote, "Forced to do it alone, and wonder every day what our lives could've looked like."He expressed his love for his siblings, writing, "The tears I shed behind closed doors, thinking about the memories we could've shared. I love you guys."The former reality TV star also answered questions about what his relationship looks like with some of his siblings now, including his sister Hannah.
Collin is estranged from his mother, Kate, after accusing her of abuse during an interview with The Sun in 2024, claiming he was abused by his mom starting when he was 8 or 9 years old. He alleged that he was confined and "isolated" from his other seven siblings by Kate and that he was "a scapegoat" for his mother's problems and often took "the brute end of things."
PEOPLE reached out to Kate and her attorney, Richard Puleo, for comment at the time, but did not receive a response. Richard Puleo, Kate's attorney, told The Sun at the time that he didn't believe that Kate had done anything to "intentionally harm" her son and that "she did what she did to protect herself and her family" from what he called "troubled behavior."
"She never wants to comment because she always knows that this gets taken out of context," Puleo told the outlet at the time. "She doesn't want to comment. Doesn't need to. The record speaks for itself."
