His first came in Game 3 of the ALDS, where he pitched 2 2/3 innings before he was relieved, allowing five hits, two earned runs and a walk.

Bieber has a 4-2 record as a starter in 2025 with a 3.57 ERA and 37:7 K:BB ratio since making his return from Tommy John surgery in August after being acquired by the Blue Jays at the MLB trade deadline. He notched nine strikeouts in his first start since 2024.
