The Maze Runner film series was adapted from James Dashner's best-selling trilogy of young adult dystopian novels.
Released between 2014 and 2018, the movies follow a group of teenagers fighting to survive a post-apocalyptic experiment.
Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Ki Hong Lee starred in all three films.
Young adult dystopias ruled the box office back in the 2010s, and The Hunger Games led the revolution. Its massive success kicked off a wave of similar book-to-screen adaptations, including The Maze Runner.
Based on James Dashner's best-selling novels, the Maze Runner movies follow Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) as he and his friends fight to uncover the truth behind a deadly experiment and survive in a post-apocalyptic world.
Now that all three Maze Runner films are streaming on Netflix, it's the perfect time to binge the action-packed series. Here's how to watch the Maze Runner movies in order.

The Maze Runner (2014)
Ben Rothstein/20th Century Studios (L to R) Kaya Scodelario as Teresa, Dylan O'Brien as Thomas, Aml Ameen as Alby, and Jacob Latimore as Jeff in 'The Maze Runner'
The Maze Runner throws viewers into the mysterious "Glade," a walled area at the center of a deadly, ever-shifting maze, where a group of teenage boys with amnesia fight to survive and find a way out.
Thomas (O'Brien) is the last to arrive, but he quickly steps up to help the Gladers escape. Their chances seem slim to none, until Teresa (Kaya Scodelario), the first and only girl to enter the Glade, shows up with information that might just save them.
The film earned mostly positive reviews at the time, with Entertainment Weekly calling it a "better-than-average" young adult fiction adaptation. "The first two-thirds of The Maze Runner are a clever feat of fantasy world building," the review continues. "It's thrilling, twisty, and as mysterious as the mammoth Skinner Box environment the film takes place in."
Beyond its critical success, The Maze Runner also soared at the box office, bringing in over $348 million worldwide on a $34 million budget.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015)
Richard Foreman/Twentieth Century Fox
(L to R) Kaya Scodelario as Teresa, Dylan O'Brien as Thomas, Ki Hong Lee as Minho, Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Newt, and Jacob Lofland as Aris in 'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials'
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials hit theaters less than a year after the first film. Picking up right where it left off, Thomas and the Gladers have just escaped the maze and the clutches of the sinister organization World Catastrophe Killzone Department (WCKD).
Now on the run through the Scorch (a harsh desert wasteland scarred by solar flares), the group faces deadly Cranks (humans infected by the Flare virus) and relentless WCKD soldiers as they race against time to find the Right Arm resistance group.
Much of the original cast returns along with new faces, including Giancarlo Esposito, Lili Taylor, and Rosa Salazar as former WCKD employees-turned-Right Arm members. Aidan Gillen also joins as Janson, a high-ranking official in WCKD, while Barry Pepper stars as the Right Arm's leader, Vince.
The added suspense and new characters weren't enough to win critical favor. Despite this, the film grossed $312.3 million against a $60 million budget.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)
Joe Alblas/Fox (L to R) Dylan O'Brien as Thomas, Giancarlo Esposito as Jorge, Dexter Darden as Frypan, Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Newt, and Rose Salazar as Brenda in 'Maze Runner: The Death Cure'
In the third and final installment, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Thomas and the remaining Gladers set out on a journey to rescue their captured friends.
Their mission leads them to the Last City, a heavily guarded WCKD territory that's more dangerous than anything they've ever faced before. Breaking in won't be easy, but it's their only chance to discover the truth behind the maze and everything that's happened since.
The Death Cure was originally slated to hit theaters in February 2017, but production was halted for six months to allow O'Brien time to recover from a serious on-set injury that left him with a concussion, a facial fracture, and brain trauma. It was eventually released on Jan. 26, 2018.
Unfortunately, critics were once again unimpressed. In EW's review, we said Maze Runner: The Death Cure is full of "template-standard" dialogue, complete with a broadly written script and "improbable getaway schemes."
