Jessie J revealed that her second breast cancer surgery was postponed by her doctor
The news comes after the singer had already canceled her tour dates for the procedure
She admitted that she's "frustrated" by the change of plans but has now rescheduled her performances in the U.S. and Canada
Jessie J revealed that her second breast cancer surgery has been postponed.
On Monday, Oct. 27, the singer posted a video on Instagram opening up about the "frustrating" delay that came only after canceling her U.S. tour for the surgery.
"Some of you may know, some of you may not know, I was supposed to have a second breast surgery two weeks ago," she said in the clip. "So a week before my surgery I went to my surgeon and we discussed my surgery and it felt a little more complex than he was anticipating and referred me to a different surgeon who I then saw, had a meeting with who said: I think this can wait a little while."
"Obviously, I'd already cancelled my tour so I was obviously frustrated but again it's out of my control and two different surgeons had two different opinions," she added.
Jessie J stressed that she's trying to make the best of everything she's been going through this year. The "Price Tag" singer then shared that she's now able to rebook tour dates for the U.S. and Canada despite her "wonky tits." The new dates are now set to kick off in January.

Jessie J revealed in June that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and wanted to "be open and share it" with her fans.
"One, because selfishly, I do not talk about it enough," she said at the time. "I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories."
After undergoing surgery shortly after her announcement, the musician shared her cancer was "all gone."
Last month, Jessie J made an emotional return to the stage following her treatment.

On Sept. 6, she played BBC Radio 2 In the Park festival in England, where her 2-year-old son Sky Safir — whom she shares with boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman — watched her perform for the first time. During her performance, the hitmaker became emotional as she addressed the crowd.
"Some of you may know, some of you may not know, but I had breast cancer surgery 11 weeks ago today," she said. "And the last show I did, I had no idea what was gonna happen, and I'm still very much in the recovery process, but I'm definitely not ready for Babins."
She continued: "I mean, I am, but my doctors are like 'calm down, girl'. Do you know what I mean, you can take the girl out of Essex, put her back in to Essex."
Jessie J noted that she was "so grateful to be here."
"You have no idea how grateful I am to see so many of you singing along after all these years," she said. "It truly feels like I'm a little kid. Still doing what I love."
