When Brittany Snow thinks of filming intimate scenes with costar Malin Akerman on*The Hunting Wives*, one thing in particular stands out to her.

"There were so many mints on that set," Snow said of the Netflix series this week on the *Not Skinny But Not Fat* podcast, "to the point where we got, both of us got sick."

Yep, she confirmed, they ate "too many mints." Snow added that she "had like an entire tub one day."

She didn't believe the same scenario would have happened in a scene with a man.

"As women, you're so mindful of each other," Snow said. "Guys, they sometimes don't care. There's not a mint in their mouth. But with Malin and I, it was like, 'Are you OK? Can I put my hand here?' It was just so nice and so different."

Snow, whose credits date back to the '90s, when she was a child star, is known for her work on TV shows including *Guiding Light *and *American Dreams*, as well as in movies such as the *Pitch Perfect* franchise and *John Tucker Must Die*.

The Netflix series, which dropped in July, is about a woman, Snow's Sophie, who trades her home in Boston for Texas, where she meets socialite Margo (Akerman) and becomes "consumed by obsession, seduction, and murder."**

Based on a novel by May Cobb, it also costars Dermot Mulroney, Chrissy Metz, and Katie Lowes.**

Snow went on to praise Akerman for her professionalism on set.

"Something great about Malin too — I mean, there's so many great things — but she's really, really attuned to what I was thinking or other people are thinking in terms of comfortability, so she was always very aware that — she's Swedish — so she's more, I don't know, open with nudity," Snow said.

When does 'The Hunting Wives' season 2 come out? Here's what's next for Netflix's most addictive drama

Snow added that Akerman would ask her things like, "'Do you want me to put my body here, so you don't have to show this part of yourself?'" Snow thought that was "so selfless and nice."

As for the nudity that Snow did do, she thought about the fact that she's going to be 40 next year and wanted to do it more.

"That's very, unfortunately, rare to see women" after that, Snow said. "If you think about it, there's a stigma in Hollywood that, once you're 40, you're no longer seen as a sexual being, which is completely false. So I love that our show brought new light to that, that you don't stop having sex when you're 40. I hope you have more."**

*The Hunting Wives* is available to stream on Netflix.
