Ed Sheeran had a candid and funny reaction to Taylor Swift's story about her engagement reveal.
The pop star's guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon became a topic of conversation when she revealed that one of her close friends found out about her engagement, like everyone else did.
In a segment called "That's So True," the "Bad Blood" hitmaker had to guess which of the five rumors about her was true.
Fallon brought up how the British singer-songwriter learned about Swift's engagement to Travis Kelce "on Instagram," to which the 14-time Grammy winner laughed and said, "That's so true."
Defending herself, Swift shared her "perfect explanation," pointing out that Sheeran doesn't even have a phone, which makes it nearly impossible to contact him directly.
"And this is one thing I love about him," she said, referring to the "Shape of You" singer's no-phone lifestyle, which she called "eccentric." She added that when she scrolled through her messages from the past few months to decide who to call and share the big news with, Sheeran's name simply wasn't there.
Ed Sheeran got to know about Taylor Swift's engagement like everyone else - through Instagram.
"You have to email him," she said, explaining how she gets in touch with her friend, adding, "If you want to set up a FaceTime, he has to find an iPad. They have to give it to him like he's a child that you give the iPad to."
Following her statement, the father of two confirmed it in the most hilarious way.
"Hello from my allotted iPad time, this is factual," he commented on one of the videos.

Sheeran's witty reaction sparked amusement among fans who praised his unbothered demeanor in the face of the lighthearted social media drama.
"I wish I didn't have a phone, now that's a flex," one wrote.
"Ed is hilarious for this," a user said.
Meanwhile, some poked fun and said, "He's an 8-year-old kid while also being 80."
The same goes for another who playfully commented, "Bro needs a Nokia at least."
As for others, they highlighted how close the two have been for years.
"This is a great friendship," a fan said.
"Ed is such a good friend," another echoed.
Back in August, the "Cruel Summer" star surprised fans when she announced her engagement to the Kansas City Chiefs star on Instagram.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," she wrote alongside a photo of the romantic proposal set in a dreamy garden. Interestingly, the post came shortly after Swift's appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast.
