Angelina Jolie is not planning on putting her private life on the page.
Despite a recent report claiming the actress, 50, was working on a tell-all memoir about her legal battles with ex-husband Brad Pitt, a source tells PEOPLE that "there's no truth to this."
"There is no way she would do this," the insider adds. The Oscar winner has not authorized any book project tied to her personal life.
Pitt, 61, and Jolie share six kids: Maddox, 24, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 16. They separated in 2016 after 12 years together and two years of marriage.
They finalized their divorce in December 2024. Their dispute over the French winery Château Miraval, however, continues.

On June 30, Pitt filed court documents demanding private communications from Jolie and seeking to depose Stoli Group executive Alexey Oliynik. Pitt alleged that Oliynik had firsthand knowledge of Jolie's 2021 sale of her share of the winery to Tenute del Mondo, Stoli's wine division.
That filing followed Pitt's February 2022 lawsuit alleging Jolie violated an agreement not to sell her share without his approval. Jolie countersued that September, claiming Pitt has been "waging a vindictive war against" her since their split.
Professionally, both stars are keeping busy. Pitt earned the highest-grossing movie of his career with the racing drama F1 and is now filming a Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sequel with David Fincher, revisiting the role that won him an Oscar.
Jolie, meanwhile, will head to the Toronto International Film Festival in September to promote her movie Couture, and she's also returning to action-thriller mode with a new spy drama from Mr. and Mrs. Smith director Doug Liman.
