During an episode ofLive with Kelly and Markon Tuesday, Dec. 2, Ripa, 55, revealed she once moved another person's bag in the overhead bin.

"When we were flying not too long ago, the overhead — it got full — but we were kind of surprised at how empty [it] was [to start]," she recalls as her husband and co-hostMark Consuelos, 54, listens with a smile.

"I was like, 'This is wild. The overhead is empty.' So I put my carry-on bag in the overhead. Because I typically just slide my backpack underneath the seat in front of me," she explains.

The thrill of having extra overhead bin space didn't last, however, as she then explains what happened next after more passengers started boarding the plane.

She continues, "The man that was sitting in front of me came on board, and it was totally — I mean, I'm talking completely empty — and he put his suitcase on top of my backpack. Which I felt was like, aggressive."

Ripa gets more fired up as she continues to tell the story, while Consuelos just nods, seemingly anticipating what's coming next.

"So I got up and I moved his bag off my bag," she admits, acting out the scene with her hands.

Consuelos chimes in with a proud look on his face, "That's right. You just shove it over."

While themom of three— she shares sons Michael, 28, and Joaquin, 22, as well as daughter Lola, 24, with Consuelos — doesn't reveal if the man reacted or not, she recalled her own smug response to moving his suitcase.

"I was just like, 'Ha!' And I sat back down," she says, looking over at her husband. "And then I sent you a text I was like, 'Did you see that man put his bag on top of my bag?' I thought it was a weird flex."

Despite Consuelos giving the man the benefit of the doubt and suggesting he "didn't see" his wife's backpack was already in there, Ripa insists, "You could see it."
