Lori Loughlinis headed back to Hope Valley.
The "Full House" alum, 61, is set to reprise her role of Abigail Stanton on the Hallmark Channel series "When Calls the Heart" after serving time in prison in connection with thecollege admissions scandal.
Loughlin will play her character in six out of 12 episodes of "When Calls the Heart" Season 14, which will start production next year and air in 2027, Hallmark confirmed on Dec. 2.
"Since the series' debut in 2014, the character of Abigail Stanton was a fan favorite and beloved by the Hearties," Michelle Vicary, Hallmark Media's head of programming, said in a statement. "At its core the Hallmark brand is about hope, positivity and connection, which is also the central theme of 'When Calls the Heart.' We felt that Season 14 was the right time to continue Abigail's story with her return to this beloved series."
In 2019,Hallmark fired Loughlinafter she was charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud in connection with the nationwide college admissions scandal. The actress and her then-husband,Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded guilty to paying $500,000 to get their daughters into the University of Southern California. She spent two months in prison and was released in December 2020.

Loughlin laterreprised her role of Abigail Stanton on "When Hope Calls,"a spin-off of "When Calls the Heart," in 2021, marking her first major return to acting after the scandal.
Loughlin's other post-scandal acting roles have includeda self-referential appearanceon "Curb Your Enthusiasm" in 2024. She played a fictional version of herself who gets Larry David to sponsor her at a country club. In the episode, David, also playing a fictional version of himself, agrees and stands up for Loughlin, only to realize she is cheating at golf.

In October, Loughlinconfirmed she and Giannulliwere separating after almost three decades of marriage. That same month, the actress' former "Full House"costar John Stamos defended heron the "Good Guys" podcast and blamed Giannulli for the college admissions scandal.
"She didn't deserve to be dragged through that," Stamos said. "I know for a fact it was all him."
"Desperate Housewives" star Felicity Huffman, whoalso pleaded guiltyin the college admissions scandal and served 11 days in prison, has similarly returned to acting after the controversy with roles in shows like "Criminal Minds: Evolution."
