Jelly Roll and Wife Bunnie Xo Crowned 'King and Queen' During Surprise Event: 'The Most Precious Thing'

Jelly Roll, whose real name isJason DeFord, and his wife,Bunnie Xo, whose real name isAlisa DeFord, aren't fans of surprises, but the latest unexpected gift they received from their daughter,Bailee Ann, sent them over the moon!

The country singer's 41stbirthdaydoesn't officially take place until Thursday, Dec. 4, but his sweet teenager got an early start on the festivities, ringing in her famous father's birthday with a prom-themed party called "Under the Stars."

Bunnie Xo was so elated by her stepdaughter's grand gesture that she took to Instagram, showcasing all of the heartwarming details that went into making the party a hit, from a ginormousballoon archtokaraoketo plenty of slow dancing for the couple of the night. Best of all, Bunnie Xo revealed the incredible gift has taught her "a powerful lesson."

"I learned a powerful lesson as a parent this week," the proudstepmom, 45, captioned alongside a video showcasing the secret event thrown by Bailee Ann. "Bailee has always hated school, but because J [Jelly Roll] and I never went to ours, we've always pushed her. 'Go make memories, go have experiences we missed.'"

"This year has been heavy — schedules, mental health, and burnout. All of it," she continued. "We've kept to ourselves, and we hate surprises. So when Bailee texted us saying she had one for us, I spiraled, especially after we swore there would be no surprises for J's birthday. But we showed up for our girl anyway, even with tired hearts."

The Couple Was Blown Away by Bailee Ann's Surprise

Bunnie Xo, then, went on to say that she was moved by Bailee's kind heart and thoughtful consideration and impressed to see that friends andfamilyshowed up to share in the meaningful moment, which included a sing-along of "Happy Birthday" to the "Save Me" singer (as shown in on Instagram).

"What we walked into stopped us in our tracks…She crowned us King and Queen, and we danced and sang like teenagers who finally got their moment, all because our baby wanted to make ussmile. She did it all herself and didn't miss one detail…," she wrote. "And the lesson? This is the most precious thing we own. Spend it on your people. The memories you make with them will outlive everything else."
