Season 4 of the HBO anthology series was reported to be set in France, which Posey confirmed
"I have no idea if I'm in it," she added
Parker Posey has seemingly confirmed the location of The White Lotus season 4!
The Emmy-nominated star of the Thailand-set third season of Mike White's HBO anthology series stopped by E! Countdown to the Red Carpet ahead of the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sept. 14.
"Mike is in the south of France now, so that's where season four's gonna be," Posey, 56, told host Heather McMahan. For the big night, the actress wore a gown with ruffled tiers and a marabou feather-trimmed cape, all in lavender.
Of The White Lotus season 4, she added, "I have no idea if I'm in it."
On Sept. 4, Deadline reported that White and HBO had "zeroed in" on France as the location of the next season of the murder mystery series, following seasons set in Hawaii, Italy and Thailand.

Because the series has worked with the Four Seasons hotel chain in the past to double as the fictional White Lotus chain in the show, speculation turned to France's three Four Seasons locations: the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, located on the French Riviera; the Megève in the Alps; and the Hotel George V, located in Paris.
White has teased that he'd like to make White Lotus seasons all over the globe. "My dream would be to hit every continent," he said at Sydney's Vivid Festival in 2023.
Speaking to E!, Posey relayed her idea to get former White Lotus star and Emmy winner Jennifer Coolidge back onto the show (following her character's demise in season 2).
"In Nordic mythology, maybe spirits come to you when you're at the top of the mountain and people hallucinate," the supporting drama actress nominee quipped. "I think Coolidge can come back depending on the location of where they are — like in the Alps somewhere."
The Best in Show star also told McMahan that no, she's not carrying any of her White Lotus character Victoria Ratliff's favorite drug on her at the Emmys. "You know what? I've never tried a Lorazepam," said Posey. "Acting!"
