It's spooky season, and Halloween lovers are going crazy over a new decoration at Home Depot. And no, it's not a larger-than-life skeleton or an animatronic ghoulish band, but rather a two-gallon bucket.
The internet is losing its mind over Home Depot's limited-edition Homer Bucket. The bright orange bucket, sporting Home Depot's logo, features jack-o'-lanterns, bats, ghosts, spiders and spiderwebs.
Many social media users have been eager to share their Home Depot Halloween bucket finds.
"First of all, you know how much candy these are going to hold? That's a win. The handle won't break," TikTok user Cyndi, who goes by Themhoffers on social media, said in a recent TikTok video. "But I was also thinking these would also be really cute for like a boo basket for your mans or (woman). These buckets last a really long time from Home Depot. You could utilize it for all kinds of things, even for passing out your own candy."

Some having hard time finding Home Depot's Halloween buckets
Others haven't been as lucky as Themhoffers and others in finding the Home Depot Halloween buckets.
In a series of videos posted by the TikTok account, Liz and Eddie, a husband searches through a Home Depot in hopes of finding the limited-edition bucket only to find stack after stack of the traditional Homer Bucket. He ends up leaving with one of the regular buckets and uses stencils and spray paint to make his own version at home.
"As the season gets closer, we're not surprised that the new Halloween version of our iconic orange Homer Bucket is gaining popularity with customers across TikTok and other online platforms," Home Depot Merchandising Vice President Chris Waits told USA TODAY. "At an affordable price, not only can it be used for trick-or-treating, as candy cauldrons or for festive DIY decor, but the jack-o'-lantern, ghost and spider web illustrations make it even more fun for the holiday."
