<p>Roseanne Barr is calling out Donald Trump, whom she supported twice for president, after he said it was "unbelievable" that "people are still talking about" Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender whose 2019 death in jail was ruled a suicide.</p>
<p>"Mr. President- Yes, we still care about Epstein," she wrote in a Tuesday social media post. "Is there a time to not care about child sex trafficking? Read the damn room."</p>

<p>Trump drew ire from across the political aisle for his response to a reporter at a cabinet meeting earlier in the day who asked the president to expand on a controversial memo circulated by the Department of Justice on Monday. The memo claimed that a "systematic review" of the so-called "Epstein files" revealed "no incriminating 'client list,'" "no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions," and no further cause for investigation.</p>
<p>"Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy's been talked about for years. We have Texas, we have all the things," Trump said, referring to catastrophic flooding in the Kerr County area of the state. "Are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable!"</p>
<p>When pushed to explain an alleged minute of missing footage from prison security cameras the day Epstein died, Trump continued, "I can't believe you're asking questions about Epstein at a time like this, where we're having some of the greatest success, and also tragedy with what happened in Texas.... It just seems like a desecration."</p>
<p>While Barr claimed in January that "it really hurt my feelings" that Trump's inner circle have not welcomed her support, the comedian has not wavered in her fealty, releasing a pro-Trump rap song that same month and calling him the "greatest president of all time" in June.Still, Barr explained in a follow-up to her post admonishing Trump that she has "slowly walked away from social media because it's obviously just a brainwashing machine, but between Epstein, Nazis and Texas floods it's hard to stay quiet."</p>

<p>Barr became a household name over the course of the late 1980s and into ʼ90s by starring on her eponymous sitcom, Roseanne. The series was revived in early 2018 but canceled within a few months after Barr posted a racist tweet attacking former President Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett.</p>
<p>The spinoff The Conners, which saw John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, and Laurie Metcalf all reprise their roles without Barr, recently concluded its seven-season run on ABC.</p>
