<p>Country-pop singer Shania Twain made history with her latest show, as the 59-year-old took over the Scotiabank Saddledome as the headlining performance for the Calgary Stampede this year.</p>
<p>According to a report from The Feldman Agency, Twain's sold-out concert on Saturday "became the highest-grossing in Stampede history." Along with her performance, Twain also served as the parade martial for the Calgary Stampede Parade on Friday.</p>

<p>The Calgary Stampede is an annual festival and rodeo held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, featuring exhibitions, concerts, a parade, and more. Stuart O'Connor, Stampede president and board chair, raved about Twain as he shared why she was chosen to headline this year's festival.</p>
<p>"She truly embodied the grit, determination and passion that's really so fundamental to the spirit of the Stampede," he told Calgary Herald of the "That Don't Impress Me Much" singer. "As a literal Canadian music icon, you could tell how much she meant to so many folks."</p>

<p>Twain reflected on her appearance at the Calgary Stampede on social media, writing, "What a weekend!! I don't even know where to begin - Calgary, you guys have a special place in my heart ❤️."</p>
<p>"Thank you for giving me the huge honour of being your 2025 @calgarystampede Parade Marshal and a big thank you for your love, vocals and energy inside @scotiabank.saddledome for me, my band and my party for two partner @drakemilligan! And yes… I saw those s--t-kicking boots in the crowd. 10 outta 10!" she concluded.</p>
