Nicki Minaj has been known to hold a grudge, and this time is no different.

The Grammy-nominated rapper went off on former collaborator and foe Megan Thee Stallion, after a judge denied a motion to dismiss a lawsuit against the "Savage" rapper and her management, Jay-Z's entertainment company Roc Nation.

"What was the name of that law again???????? Karma's Law? Touch not my anointed law? Vengeance is the Lord's law," Minaj wrote on Instagram July 8 in reaction to the news.

The caption is in reference to Megan's 2024 diss track "Hiss" against the Queens, New York, rapper, in which the Houston native raps that people "don't be mad at Megan," but they're "mad at Megan's Law." For background, Megan's Law is a federal law that requires registered sex offenders to provide personal information to local law enforcement agencies. Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, and her brother, Jelani Maraj, are both registered sex offenders; however, Megan Thee Stallion didn't mention Minaj or her family on the track.

In one incident, Garcia alleged that Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, had sex with a woman beside him while they were in an SUV together after a night out in June 2022. After the SUV incident, Roc Nation allegedly altered Garcia's compensation structure in August 2022 in a way that resulted in him earning "significantly less," and fired him in June 2023 "in retaliation," he claimed.

A lawyer for Megan Thee Stallion said in a statement to USA TODAY at the time that the lawsuit is "an employment claim for money … with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her."

A federal judge denied a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, according to Billboard, on grounds that Garcia, who is gay, "plausibly" pleaded that the SUV incident "created a hostile work environment based on" the man's sexual orientation.
