Travis Kelce, Andy Reid engage in fiery sideline exchange
The frustration is boiling over for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Already 0-2 on the season, Andy Reid's team is searching for answers. Despite owning a 6-0 lead in the second quarter, Reid isn't happy with the way his team looks and, specifically, Travis Kelce.
The tight end hasn't looked like himself all season long and Reid has seemingly had enough. He approached Kelce after Harrison Butker missed a 40-yard field goal and appeared irate at the player.
Take a look:

Both sides exchanged words, with Reid noticeably throwing a shoulder into Kelce and getting in his face before the tight end walked away. Whether it was an attempt to light a fire under the All-Pro or not is anyone's guess, but the frustration is obvious.
At halftime, NBC's Melissa Stark asked Reid about the frustration on the sidelines. The coach said his team needed some juice in the first half.

Kelce totaled just two catches on four targets and managed only four yards.
It's not the first time Reid and Kelce have gotten into it on the sidelines, but things haven't always looked this bad for Kansas City. The Chiefs haven't been 0-2 since 2014, which was Reid's second season with the team.
Expected to be Super Bowl contenders, nothing has gone right for the AFC juggernaut in the young season. Kelce famously dislocated Xavier Worthy's shoulder on the third offensive snap of the season against the Chargers in Week 1. For an encore performance, he then dropped a touchdown pass that became an interception in Week 2 against the Eagles.
Already without Rashee Rice due to suspension, Kansas City is without many of its pass-catching options and is in desperate need of a win.
Perhaps that's why Reid targeted Kelce. Or maybe the frustration is getting harder to hide.
You be the judge.
