Jason Aldean revealed his shocking career move that's "probably in [his] future," which would take place in a city that changed his life forever.

"I look at things that are going on now like The Sphere out in Las Vegas, like, going and doing some residencies," Jason, 48, told Dax Shepard during the Monday, September 1, episode of the "Armchair Expert" podcast. "[Kenny] Chesney just did his out there, and Shaun Silva, who is our video director too, did all the content for that … I think Backstreet Boys just did one – killer."

The "She's Country" singer shared his possible new career move after admitting that retiring isn't in the cards for him just yet. Jason has already taken a massive step back from touring, toning down his 200-stop yearly shows to about "50 or 60" concerts.

Jason's willingness to headline his own Vegas residency may come as a shock to some fans, as he was on stage during the devastating mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on October 1, 2017. More than 60 people lost their lives, and over 400 other victims were seriously injured before the gunman took his own life.

"It was a festival like we've done a million times. It was just obviously something that we weren't prepared for," the "Big Green Tractor" musician reflected during the podcast episode.

Jason admitted that the festival has become "easier" to talk about after years of "trying to comprehend" what happened.

"You know, my bass player, my best friend for the last 25 years, [Tully Kennedy], his bass had a bullet lodged in it that he was wearing when we were on stage," he reflected. "For our little family, our little crew, we got so lucky, not one injury to any of our guys. And you're happy about that, but then you're like, feel guilty to be happy about there's like this guilt-ridden thing."
