The Dawson's Creek cast is returning to Capeside for a special cause.
The stars behind the beloved WB teen drama will reunite in its entirety for the first time since the groundbreaking series wrapped for a one-night-only charity event, in partnership with F Cancer.
James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, Mary Beth Peil, John Wesley Shipp, Mary-Margaret Humes, Nina Repeta, Kerr Smith, Meredith Monroe, and Busy Philipps are set to reunite at the Richard Rodgers Theatre for a live reading of the show's unforgettable pilot episode to benefit F Cancer and Van Der Beek, who was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer last year.
The event will be directed by fellow Dawson's Creek alum, Jason Moore, and produced by Carl Ogawa, Moore, Michelle Williams, Thomas Kail, Maggie Brohn, Kevin Williamson and Greg Berlanti.

For Philipps, Smith and Monroe, cast members who joined the show after its first season, they will read various roles in the pilot, hinting at fun surprises for fans.
In a statement announcing the event, Kevin Williamson shared, "I am so excited to reunite with James, Michelle, Katie, Joshua, and our Dawson's Creek family for such a special night. Dawson's Creek changed my life. What began as a personal story about a young man and his friends navigating their way through the challenges of life became so much more than I ever dreamed."
"It created an enduring fandom and legacy all over the world. I am so honored to be a part of it and to support our beautiful friend, James, as we continue to navigate our way through life and its many challenges," he concluded.

Michelle Williams also shared a statement about the event. "We grew up in Capeside and that's a bond that will last a lifetime. We wanted to gather around our dear friend James and remind him that we are all here. We always have been and we always will be. And I know the fans of Dawson's Creek feel the same way."
Dr. Heather Kun, CEO of F Cancer, also shared a statement, looking forward to the special event. "We couldn't be more thrilled to partner with the cast of Dawson's Creek to emphasize the importance of routine cancer screenings and being your own biggest health advocate. Cancer screening is crucial because it can detect certain cancers at an early stage before symptoms appear, significantly improving outcomes and saving lives."
Prior to the announcement, Van Der Beek and Phillipps hinted at a reunion by sharing the same image on Instagram, featuring a season 1 cast photo and the quote, "If we were truly meant to be, then we'll find a way back to each other."
Tickets go on sale at Broadway Direct on Friday, August 22, at 10:00 a.m. PT/ 1:00 p.m. ET.
