<p>The content creator had amassed a following of over 144,000 on Instagram for her beauty and lifestyle posts</p>
<p>"Although Liz has quietly left, the beauty and love she left behind will always be with us," her husband wrote in a translated post</p>
<p>Liz Lin Ruoyu, a Taiwanese beauty influencer, has died at age 36.</p>
<p>"Although Liz has quietly left, the beauty and love she left behind will always be with us," wrote the content creator's husband in a translated post on Instagram on Aug. 10, confirming her death.</p>
<p>The influencer, whose following on Instagram totaled over 144,000, regularly posted beauty and lifestyle content to her account — sharing a video trying on different kinds of eyeglasses as recently as June 3. Her content on the platform dates back to 2012.</p>

<p>"On social platforms, she never saw herself as an 'influencer' but as a friend to everyone," wrote Liz's husband on Instagram. "She always tried her best to respond to every message just because she really cared and really appreciated everyone who supported her."</p>
<p>"She was always curious about new things, especially about small animals, with infinite gentleness and care," he added. "She always had a unique and fascinating taste, always able to use her vision and creativity to add beauty and inspiration to the world."</p>

<p>In the comments of the post, followers and friends of Liz posted heartfelt reactions to the tragic news.</p>

<p>"Still miss you so much," wrote Hannah Yang, a peer influencer who had made content with Liz, in a translated post.</p>
<p>"May Liz be beautiful and happy in another world ❤" wrote another influencer in a translated post.</p>
<p>Nancy Tsai — a Taiwanese blogger and friend of Liz's for 15 years — remembered the content creator with a post to her Instagram account, sharing several photos together over the course of their friendship.</p>
