<p>On July 14, Netflix announced that Sandra is joining the Los Angeles-based cast for season 9, becoming a realtor at the Oppenheim Group</p>
<p>"Season 9 definitely brings some unexpected twists," Sandra teased. "There are some jaw-dropping moments you won't see coming"</p>

<p>On Monday, July 14, Netflix announced that Sandra is joining the Los Angeles-based cast of Selling Sunset for season 9, becoming a realtor at the Oppenheim Group — "where new faces will bring new feuds into the Los Angeles real estate market," per a press release.</p>
<p>"I guess the cat's out of the bag," Sandra teased in an Instagram Stories post following the announcement.</p>
<p>The ninth season of the reality series will follow the O Group agents "vying for the most exclusive listings," Netflix said. The streamer said cast members Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, Nicole Young, Alanna Gold, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi, and Jason and Brett Oppenheim will all be returning.</p>
<p>"The O Group felt like the perfect fit: sharp, high energy, and full of people who are at the top of their game," Vergara said in the press release.</p>
<p>"Season 9 definitely brings some unexpected twists," she added. "There are some jaw-dropping moments you won't see coming."</p>

<p>Sandra — a former Los Angeles correspondent for PEOPLE (the TV Show!) — has spent time as an actor, journalist and luxury real estate professional. She began her career on E! alongside RuPaul, and has appeared in TV shows including CSI, The Bold and the Beautiful and Nip/Tuck.</p>
<p>Per the release, Netflix adds, "Oh and if that last name rings a bell: Yes, she's the cousin and adoptive sister of fellow actor Sofia Vergara."</p>
<p>Speaking with Netflix, Sandra said that she hopes to join the O Group with "an instinct for value and ability to navigate high-stakes environments."</p>
<p>"I've always had an eye for design and a love for people, so combining that in real estate just clicked," she said. "I'd seen [Selling Sunset] and always thought the women were incredibly dynamic. But being on the inside now, it's a whole different level of excitement."</p>
<p>Selling Sunset creator Adam DiVello also told the streamer following the drama in season 8 and clashes on social media among the cast (involving Young, Stause, Lazkani and Hernan) that season 9 will pick up right where the last season left off.</p>
<p>"There was a lot of strife in the office and a lot of hurt feelings, so we pick up and try to get past that as quickly as possible and into new stories," DiVello told Netflix.</p>

<p>Though Netflix hasn't officially set a release date for season 9, star Amanza Smith first confirmed that the series was coming back when she posted a TikTok in November 2024 with the caption "and we're back 🎬," and the hashtag "#sellingsunsetseason9."</p>
<p>The president of the firm, Jason Oppenheim, told Business Insider that they had to pause filming in January 2025 due to the Los Angeles wildfires.</p>
<p>"I don't know if or how we'll address it on camera," he said, adding that they had halted Selling Sunset production so the real estate company could focus its efforts on helping victims.</p>

<p>Additionally, Stause previously confirmed that the drama between herself and Youngwill continue in the reality show's next installment. In August 2024, Chrishell wrote on her Instagram Stories that she would "NEVER work on a show" with Nicole again.</p>
<p>However, she changed her tune in an October 2024 interview with Pedestrian.TV.</p>
<p>"Obviously I have very strong feelings about her that I stand 10 toes down on and I don't take any of that back," Chrishell said in a TikTok video shared by the Australian news outlet. "However, I am also a businesswoman. I always will be able to change my mind if you add a zero. So listen, I hate her, but if you are going to pay me a ton of money to go say it to her face, then write the check."</p>
