<p>The pop star is currently in the middle of her Lifetimes Tour, performing in Australia before heading to North America in July</p>
<p>Katy Perry made an emotional return to the stage for the first time since the news of her split from Orlando Bloom.</p>
<p>On Monday, June 30, the "Roar" singer, 40, appeared to fight back tears onstage during the last show of her Lifetimes World Tour in Adelaide, Australia.</p>
<p>In a clip posted on X, Perry looked teary-eyed as she stood onstage towards the end of the show with her arms raised above her head while making a heart shape with her hands.</p>
<p>"Thank you for always being there for me Australia. It means the world," the singer said. Perry then gathered herself as she added, "Now let's sing 'Firework!' "</p>
<p>Perry's performance comes days after the news of her split with Bloom, 48, broke. Their split was confirmed by PEOPLE on June 26. The pair previously got engaged in 2019 and share 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.</p>

<p>As Perry performed in Australia on Monday, Bloom took to his Instagram Stories to repost some inspiring quotes following their breakup. "Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most," he reposted from @taomeditiation, a saying attributed to Gautama Buddha.</p>
<p>The actor also shared a slide with text that read, "... The important thing is to take that first step. Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next," a quote from Daily Encouragement by Daisaku Ikeda.</p>
<p>Bloom was seen after his and Perry's split announcement jetting to Venice where he attended the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez on June 26. The former couple have not yet confirmed their split publicly.</p>

<p>Perry and Bloom began dating in 2016 after meeting at a Golden Globes afterparty. Though they broke up in 2017, they got back together the following year.</p>
<p>In 2019, Bloom popped the question to Perry. "Katy was very surprised and shaking with happiness," a source told PEOPLE at the time about their engagement. They planned to get married in the summer of 2020, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, they postponed their wedding indefinitely.</p>
<p>Perry kicked off her Lifetimes Tour in Mexico City in April. Following her performances in Adelaide, she is heading to North America for a series of shows in July and August. In September, she embarks to South America before the European leg of her tour kicks off in October and November.</p>
<p>The singer wraps up her massive trek at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December.</p>
