<p>Ed Sheeran finally gave the people what they've been waiting for when he met his viral wax figure in person.</p>
<p>The artist, dressed in a white tee and armed with his guitar in hand, visited the handcrafted version of himself, uploading a video montage of their introduction on Instagram on Sunday, July 6.</p>
<p>Set to his latest single "Sapphire," Sheeran mimicked his wax figure's pose, tossing the guitar up over his shoulder and standing side-by-side, cozied up over his shoulder, squatted in front of him, and even brushed his nose against the other's.</p>
<p>"I appreciate the effort on this waxwork but it's creepy af let's be honest," he concluded.</p>

<p>Fans have been waiting to see the "Photograph" singer encounter his alter ego for years, ever since it was first unveiled at Panoptikum Hamburg, Germany's oldest wax museum, in July of 2023.</p>
<p>"I waited for this 😭😂😂😂," one wrote with several crying and laughing emojis, while another added, "btw, we've waited for this side quest for years 😂."</p>
<p>Fans made quick work of calling out the dissimilarities of the two iterations of Sheeran, with one pointing out that not even the height matched up.</p>
<p>"😂😂 it doesn't do you justice mate," someone else lamented, as others joked, "That's Jed Sneeran," and, "we have Ed Sheeran at home."</p>
<p>"Ed Sheeran from Temu✨," another quipped.</p>
<p>"The nose to nose touch has me SCREAMING😂," somebody else exclaimed, leading another to joke, "boop ✨️."</p>
